Died on Jan 19, 1892 of la grippe, Timothy Foran, aged 27 years. This is, indeed, a sadly bereaved family. The father was buried on Tuesday shortly before the death of the son.

Same page, different columns:  Mr. and Mrs. John Foran and two sons of this township have died in the past four months – a bereavement so heavy in so short a time, seldom happens to a single family. The stricken family have the sympathy of all.

The remains of Mr. John Forhan (sic – death record says Foran – do not see them on findagrave) and Timothy Forhan now in the vault at Forest Hill Cemetery will be buried on Sunday afternoon at 3 o’clock.
